About
Kula Culture
At Kula Culture, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn about the world’s oldest living culture through experiences that are authentic, engaging, and meaningful.
Founded by Yuin artist and educator Rheanna Lotter, Kula Culture delivers Aboriginal cultural programs and educational resources designed to build understanding, respect, and genuine connections to Aboriginal culture. Every workshop and resource is created from lived experience, cultural knowledge, and a passion for sharing culture in a way that is age-appropriate, hands-on, and inspiring.
Our programs go beyond arts and crafts. Children explore storytelling, traditional symbols, bush medicine, ochre, native animals, caring for Country, and the values that have connected Aboriginal people to this land for tens of thousands of years. Through creativity, curiosity, and conversation, we encourage children to see the strength of culture while developing respect for the diverse communities around them.
Alongside our face-to-face workshops, we create high-quality educational resources that help educators confidently embed Aboriginal perspectives into everyday learning. Designed to align with the Early Years Learning Framework and school settings, our resources make authentic Aboriginal education accessible, practical, and meaningful.
Whether we’re visiting an early learning centre, working with a school, or supporting educators through our resources, our goal is the same: to create culturally safe learning experiences that celebrate Aboriginal culture with authenticity, respect, and heart.
